Spin the Wheel
Your Next Choice Starts Here

Turn a list of possibilities into one random pick. Add your own choices, make the wheel feel like yours, and spin to find a name, an idea, or your next thing to do.

Make your first pick

From a list to a decision

Make Your Pick in Three Steps

  1. 01

    Put your choices in

Open Entries and type or paste one choice per line. Add names, ideas, places, or anything you want to pick from. Blank lines stay out of the spin.

  2. 02

    Give it your own look

Choose Browse Styles for a ready-made look, or open Settings beside the sound button. Use Skin for colors and textures, Sound for audio, and Custom for spin and winner options.

  3. 03

Let the wheel make a pick

Click or tap the wheel to spin. The pointer marks the winner, and Results keeps the picks from your session. Keep the winner in the list or remove it before your next round.

Small details. Your kind of wheel.

Make the Wheel Yours

Your list, with a personal touch

Add your choices, then use Add image to choose a background photo, center photo, or new image entry. Advanced lets you edit individual entries.

A style for the occasion

Choose Browse Styles, or refine colors, textures, backgrounds, fonts, and the pointer in Settings → Skin.

More control over each entry

Use Advanced to enable choices and set weights. Equal weights give equal chances; higher weights increase an entry’s share of the odds.

More than one question

Choose Add wheel, then the small + for more. Spin each wheel independently or pick together with Spin all.

Bring a list, take a list

Open CSV to import or export your list and weights. Roll or Pick JSON carries settings and images too.

Keep it or pass it on

Saved on this device when browser storage is available. Download a JSON backup with Save wheel, or use Share wheel to send a snapshot link.

What will you pick?

One Wheel, Plenty of Possibilities

A few ways to bring a little surprise into the day.

A turn in the classroom

Pick the next reader, discussion starter, or group presenter. Remove a selected name to work through the class without choosing it again.

A prize to give away

Add your eligible participants, check the list, and pick a recipient. For several prizes, remove each winner before the next draw.

An everyday decision

Put a few dinner ideas, weekend plans, or chores on the wheel. Give a small decision a clear next step.

A party with a surprise

Fill the wheel with charades prompts, icebreakers, or playful challenges. Spin when the group is ready for the next activity.

A few useful answers

Before Your Next Spin

Entries, odds, and keeping your wheels for later.

How do I add my own entries or an image?

In Entries, type or paste one choice per line. Blank entries are not selected. Add image opens options for a background photo, center photo, or new image entry. Choose the same option again to replace a background or center image. Remove the background from this menu or the center with the red minus button. Image entries can be edited or removed in Advanced.

Does every entry have the same chance of winning?

Enabled entries with equal weights have equal chances. Changing weights changes the probabilities: an entry with weight 3 has three times the chance of an entry with weight 1. Its chance is its weight divided by the total weight of all enabled entries. Set weights in Advanced; disabled and blank entries are excluded. Repeated names are separate entries, so entering a name twice gives it two chances when the weights are equal.

Can I remove a winner before the next spin?

Yes. Use Remove in the winner popup or Remove winner on a banner. With an on-wheel result, hover over the winner badge or tab to its controls to reveal them; they are visible on touch devices. You can also enable Auto-remove winner in Settings → Custom to remove the winning entry after five seconds, once the wheel is idle.

How do CSV import and export work?

Choose CSV, then upload a CSV file or paste its contents. A single column can contain just your choices; multi-column files need a supported label header such as name or input. Optional weight, enabled, and color columns are supported. Review the preview before appending entries or replacing the active wheel. In the export tab, choose Download CSV for a list or Download Roll or Pick JSON for settings and bundled images. CSV image references work only in the browser where those images are stored.

Can I use several wheels at once?

Yes. Choose Add wheel, then the small + after the wheel tabs to add more. The tabs select which wheel you are editing. Tap a wheel to spin it individually or use Spin all to spin the set and see the winners together.

Will my wheels still be here when I return?

Edits are saved locally when your browser allows storage. They belong to this browser profile on this device and do not automatically sync elsewhere. Clearing site data can remove your wheels and images; private browsing may discard them when the session ends. Use Save wheel to download the active wheel as Roll or Pick JSON, then import that file through CSV for a backup or to move it to another device. Export each wheel you want to keep.

What does a shared link include?

Choose Share wheel to create a snapshot of the active wheel’s entries, appearance, and images. Choose whether visitors can only spin, can also copy it, or can find it in the public gallery. Later edits to your original wheel do not change that snapshot. The link can be opened on another browser or device while it remains available and expires after 183 days. Keep a JSON backup if you need a lasting copy.

Can I use Roll or Pick on my phone?

Yes. Tap the wheel to spin and use the same entry and customization controls on a smaller screen. Fullscreen opens a focused workspace; if the browser cannot enter native fullscreen, Roll or Pick uses an expanded view. You can still open Settings there. The wheel also respects your device’s reduced-motion preference.
